Works like advertised

Works great, lasts a long time print is clear with no lines or smudges. Only downside is terribly expensive

Use OEM only!

It does not pay in the long run to try and use 3rd party toners or drums. Lesson learned! Brothers own products work the way the product should work and perform the way a laser printer should perform. I am a court reporter and in all honesty, I tried using a 3rd party toner and my transcripts had skipped letters throughout and if I pressed hard on the transcript paper, the toner actually faded or totally eradicate itself. Never again. I have stuck with Brother products and like I said, it doesn’t pay to try to go about saving a nickel or a dime or even a few dollars.

Notary Signing Agent - LOTS of printing

I go through a lot of copy paper like other mobile notaries. This machine is a workhorse. So far, the copies have exceeded the 8,000 page estimate. I recently had a problem with the toner spilling out on to the drum and causing ugly copies. The Brother Support (Chat and link), gave very specific instructions to solve the problem. Works great now!

Yield only 7000 pages

This cartridge is ridiculous and yield less pages than TN 850. Why spent more money.

This toner cartridge yields approximately 12,000 pages based on the ISO/IEC 19752 testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content. Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.
