Sadly, I will not buy them again. Wish they had 1/2 sizes!
I have owned a pair of these boots for over five years and have loved the way they look with almost anything and mostly the way they feel. But it came time to replace them: the treads had worn down a lot, the elastic goring is starting to loosen, and they've been worn so much under virtually all conditions that they just don't spiff up well enough to wear with skirts or dresses anymore). In addition, perhaps due to aging (mine but also the boots'), they had become less comfortable, and I feel the need for a bigger toe box. So, I ordered a size up (from the 39 to 40). Unfortunately, while the 39 just doesn't feel big enough anymore, the 40 is just too big. I could live with the extra length in the foot, and the toe box is more comfortable, but they are just too wide in the heel and ankle areas; my heel slips around and the elastic goring is just too loose to feel supportive. I almost always wear a 9 and VERY occasionally a 9.5, but due to the way these are sized, sizing down to the 8.5-9 doesn't work and sizing up to the 9.5-10 has proven a bridge too far.

Very Disappointing
The boots are cute, but there is where the positive ends. I ordered size 37 and the box had 37 printed on it. However, I doubt the boots are even a 36. I looked all over both boots to locate the size, but that was nowhere to be found. I then had to make the trip to the local Macy's (defeats the purpose of purchasing online) to return them only to learn that the manufacturer plans to take its own sweet time to refund my money (I still do not have it). Funny, it only took about two seconds for them to take my money when I trusted them to send the correct size; apparently, they don't trust me to return the boots in the same condition I received them. And speaking of condition: I am not the first person to return that particular pair; it looked like someone had tried them on, walked around the house to check the fit, and decided to return them without cleaning off the bottom. Needless to say, I will NOT be purchasing Bueno again.
Gorgeous boot!
Leather is soft as butter. Very attractive leather ruffle detail. For sizing, I normally wear 8-8.5, with most reliable shoe fit using Euro size 39. In this case, went with size 39, described as size 9 for this boot. Perfect fit! Replaced insole with my usual inexpensive high arch support insole. Nice 2" sturdy heel. This 66yo would definitely buy again.
The best
I have had these boots for going on 7 years and they are just now starting to wear in a couple small spots. Everyone compliments them, i wear them every day all winter. I will be getting a new pair

I finally found the boots I've been wanting!
I bought these because they are really cute and stylish. My pair are black with the hunter green interlay. They go with just about my entire wardrobe! Love them.

Fit and Service
The Bueno Connie Boot wraps very tightly on the foot. There is no instep room to move your foot. Unfortunately, this vendor provides bad service and no one responds to any questions or concerns. If you need to return these boots, it will take weeks. I do not recommend buying these boots online. I am very disappointed. I love Macy's, but I will not buy anything from outside vendors from now on.
These boots are soooo comfortable!
These bouts are soooo comfortable. I can wear these boots all day but caution if you need arch support. I love the look and all the color options.

Defective
These boots started to squeak after wearing them off and on for a couple months. I emailed the company asking about a repair. They responded that I could send them at MY cost and IF they found them to be defective they would replace with the same or a lesser priced item. How would they know if they squeaked if they didn't wear them? And what if they didn't squeak for them? Would that supposedly make them non-defective? I found their response unacceptable and just accepted that I'd not be able to wear them. Today when I decided to wear them anyway because they are comfortable after all, the zipper broke. I am extremely disappointed in this boot and this company.
