I tried on one of these boots and saw it was too narrow. I wore it for 30 seconds. I returned it to the store, and the employee accused me of returning it worn. She pointed out wear on the left heel, but I had not even taken that boot out of the box. There were also marks on the soles I had not noticed. She did accept the return, but it was stressful and embarrassing.

As mentioned above, I found the height of this bootie to be perfect with ankle length jeans.
