It's fine for my purpose

I don't recall it described as "rustic" but the finish is not as smooth as I expected. There were some minor scratches on the top. I kept it anyway because it was too much trouble to send back. It was easy to put together-- took about 30 minutes. Directions were clear and all parts were labeled.

very wobbly hinges

The concept of a foldout C table was nice but the hinges are lousy. Cannot be tightened. Bit a screw to wood issue. It's the loose nature of the hing that causes the table top to scoot around when folded. Looks broken - wiggles around when in closed position. Not good to put a glass on etc
