Perfect small saucepan

Sauce pan is small but perfect for most of what you'd want this for: it heats evenly and well, is nicely constructed and critically, can easily be poured using one hand. It is compact and light enough to easily handle. I've been through a number of these that cooked well but were cumbersome on your wrist. The quality is definitely there too.

Just the right size and durable

This is the second 1.5QT sauce pan I've purchased to be used in addition to the original one. I like the size for the meals I cook for my wife and I. The straining lid is important and the durability is very good.

Love the size and material. If handle is too close to flame, it will get hot. I would definitely buy another

A perfect pot

This is the perfect small pot I was looking for! I like to have hard boiled eggs on hand for a low cal nutritious snack, and this pot is big enough for 4 or 5 eggs and deep enough to cover them with water without having to wastefully heat up a big pot. The strainer lid was a bonus feature, so I'm also using the pot to cook a serving or two of pasta without having to get out a colander to drain it.

Proper heating technique

Contrary to some other reviews, the handle does NOT get hot if you choose a gas burner whose flame circumference is not larger than that of the sauce pan itself! In other words, don't use a flame that heats the handle, use one that heat the body of the pan!

Test of Time Cookware

Love the enduring quality and beauty of stainless cookware. I can put soup on to warm or veggies to steam without worrying about the pot burning. Definitely made to last which saves me money and time. Beautiful pot in addition.
