Just the right size

The Dutch oven pot is just the right size. I needed a pot 4-5 quarts

Like Christmas

Wife loves Calphalon and so I know that I needed to update our cookware to the newest Calphalon induction-ready cookware due to our purchase of a new induction range. Needless to say she loves the new cookware it's like Christmas morning when I saw her open each box.

Requires extra care

I agree with other reviewers about spotting and discoloration of the pan. After one use, to boil water and make pasta, there were small white mineral deposit spots inside the pan and dark discoloration bands on the bottom of the pan. It was easy enough to remove the mineral spots with a bit of vinegar, but the outside has to be cleaned with bar keeper's friend, as recommended by Calphalon. It's an inexpensive product you can get at your grocery store. I'm glad I learned about it here because it does a great job cleaning stainless steel. The pan is well made and heavy and I like the pour spouts/strainers. It's a great pan but it gets 4 stars from me because it requires extra care and cleaning,

Great dutch oven!

Bought this to replace a non-stick dutch oven that was totally scratched up. Price was great and the weight of the pot is great too. Have been using it to cook pasta but excited to use it for other dinners!

I love it!

The quality and performance of this product is great. I will definitely buy one more. I used it to make soup and stew, cooked rice and boiled pasta.

Not a Dutch oven

The quality is good. It takes forever for water to boil because low to medium heat is recommended. Cleaning is easy but still have some spots in the bottom.

Quality

I haven't used the pot as of yet but since this is a Calphalon I had to give it 5 Stars, I love all their products.
