Stylish and great fit

This coat is great! The style can be dressed up or down for more casual wear. The fit is great and slim and compliments anything I wear under. It is a little on the lighter side and not recommended for sub zero Chicago weather but definitely works for my needs. I would recommend this to any one considering this coat.

Be aware

Ok, so not perfect. It’s a bit bulky because of all the padding that keeps you warm. This could have been accomplished better if the coat were made from wool or wool cashmere blend. The inside vest is not removable which would have been ideal since it would give you the flexibility to use it one way or the other. As a car coat goes, it’s shorter than a regular overcoat so it will not keep your legs warm. The plus side and why I’m keeping it is that it has a nice fit on me and looks good. For a two week vacation in December to Madrid I will overlook the down side of the jacket and enjoy the city. I may just return it. Hmmm.

Affordable expensive coat

I’m really impressed with this coat! The quality is excellent and it fits perfectly, though I did have to go a size down from what I usually wear. That’s exactly why I think it’s still worth buying clothes in person—you get the chance to try things on and make sure they’re just right. I found it on sale at Macy’s, and honestly, the price felt almost too good to be true for something that looks and feels this nice. The material and overall finish make it seem much more expensive than what I actually paid. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and know I’ll be wearing it for years to come.
