when i saw this boot i thought they were weird looking but cute they look better in the tan.. i wanted a low hill compfortable winter boot...i wore these on xmas with skinny jeans tucked in and they looked great every one in my family thought they were too cute and they are very very compfortable..surprised they are not on sale i got mine on sale at the store..i do reccommend

These boots get a 5 star rating! They look great, are extremely comfortable, and are well made. I went to Boston recently, and of all the shoes I took, I wore these 90% of the time. Since Boston is America's "walking city", I walked everyday all over Back Bay and Beacon Hill. The weather was cold and snowy and the boots were perfect. Besides their functionality, they look trendy, pulled my sweater/legging outfits together, and I received many compliments all over the city. I live in Nashville, where the weather is not so cold, and I still wear them most of the time. Mind you, I have around 30 or so pairs of boots, so when I say these are fabulous, they are fabulous. This is my favorite pair of boots over the course of years! Another perk is that Id forgotten to treat the boots w a shoe protector prior to my trip, and on the trip, stepped in a large puddle. The boots remained unscathed. They are true to size, plenty of room to layer so that they still fit the calves snuggly, and are just comfortable. Im 47 and my sons college age female friends raved over them as well, wanted to borrow them, and I just couldnt part with them!

The fit is bizarre between arch and toes. But the boots are cute enough that they're worth the awkwardness.
