Wanted to Love It But Fit Was Off

I thought this top and its matching skirt would be great separates for this summer. Loved the polka dots and the material. But it wasn't flattering on me, my daughter or my daughter in law. I thought it was because I was too short (5'6") with a pear shape. But my two daughters are 5'8" and 5'9" and the top just didn't lay right on them. They thought it was because the top should have been a bit shorter and hit, instead, on the tops of our hips rather than being loose around our waists. And the top runs tight through the chest so size up if you are on the fence.
