Less abstract than its forebears, N°5 L'EAU radiates citrus like sun-drenched honey. Top notes of lemon, mandarin and orange are propelled by aldehydes, followed by a profusion of flowers. Rose melds with airy jasmine and a touch of ylang-ylang, more modern than ever. Behind this floral whirlwind, vetiver and cedar impart a novel dynamism, softened by white musk notes.

What is with the bottle

I was stopped in the store and asked to try the fragrance. The sales lady was polite and the fragrance was fresh. She mentioned the new bottle but I didn’t pay it much attention sense we were in the middle of the floor. When I got my purchase home I was confused and disappointed in the shape of the bottle. There is no base to stand the fragrance up. You have to keep it in the box on lay it flat on the counter vanity. Very very disappointed in this limited edition bottle. I’m still saying what the heck.
