Problems with cut

Due to sizing differences I sometimes wear a medium and sometimes a large. I decided to order this in large but even that was too tight across the shoulders. The bottom is cut very tent-like and was not flattering at all. I wish I could re-locate some fabric from the bottom to the top. The fabric is okay and I like the fringe detail but will have to return it.
