I used to be a devout Clark shoe advocate, back when i i graduated from nursing school. Back then Clark's were made in England. since i retired my footwear needs changed but so did Clark's. i have always worn size 43/9.5. before i ordered these i read in the comments about them being smaller, so i checked the sizing charts against my measured foot size and ordered a size 10 w. i was so disappointed when i received them. they looked tiny, and narrow. My foot didn't come close to fitting past my instep, when i held my foot against the sole my foot was a half in wider than the sole. it made me sad, the shoe was well made, the leather was beautiful, it had the texture of old oil tanned leather. this may have been avoided had i gone to a store to purchase them but i live almost 100 miles to the nearest Macy's due to recent closures.

Expectations not met. The shoes looked like they were open box from a few years ago. Obvious damage to one shoe. The shoe had a deep what appeared to be brand or burn mark.

Great pair of shoes
It's hard to find shoes in wide sizes. These size 10 wides fit perfectly and are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

These were popular back in the late 70s when I was a teenager so purchased them thinking I would enjoy them. I tried them on and it felt wobbly like I was going to fall or not really have support. They are made very well and the soles are full size but I just felt like I was going to twist my ankle. This is just my opinion.

Very nice leather and very comfortable. Could just be my foot but I went down a half size from my normal Nike 11.5 to a size 11 in this shoe but I just had too much heel slippage so I sadly returned. If it wasn’t for the heel slippage, I would have loved to have sported these bad boys around.

Best boots
These were a Christmas gift for my son. There were many other brands that make this style boot. My son already had a pair of Clarks so the other brands just wouldn’t do. He loves them and is beyond satisfied with them. He insists that the comfort is unmeasurable.

Nice Shoe
As a Avid Clark wearer they feel and look great. My only issue was the packaging and box were beat up and looked horrible.
