Comfortable Disaster

I really wanted to like these shoes. They look great and are very comfortable right out the box, no break in needed. But in less than an hour of wear, the smooth brown finish started turning dull, blotchy, and ashy, almost like the color was rubbing or peeling off in patches. This isn’t normal creasing, it’s the top layer failing almost immediately. For a brand new shoe, that’s unacceptable. Comfort doesn’t mean much if the quality can’t last a single wear. I’ll be returning them. Comfortable? Yes. Built to last? Not even an hour.
