Runs wide in heel and deep at forefoot

Love the look of these dress shoes! And loved the practicality of a slight wedge, vs true flats (which aren’t good for women’s feet). Ordered a size up (11W vs 10W), following size chart, for my foot length. But while length and width were fine, the shoe depth at my forefoot swallowed the front of my feet (my feet are thin, not ‘beefy’’), and I literally walked out of the shoes b/c the heel was so wide. The actual toe box clearance (height) for my big toes, though, was just barely enough. (Slopes down.) I tried a variety of workarounds to adjust the fit, incl with inserts, insoles, gel arches, heel pads, and orthotics! - but they were still too deep in front/wide in back. (The orthotics also raised the heel too high to stay in the shoe.) 10W and 11M are unavailable, so no way to try a smaller size. If they fit your feet, you’re in for a treat - but these don’t fit me. Sadly returning.

Shoes

The shoes are nice but had to return because they were too big. When you slip them on, they will slide off from the back heel.
