Breaks off

I've bought this product twice as I like the creamy texture of the eyeshadow. But I've had the same problem with the second as I had with the first- the paler side just breaks and falls out of the retainer when it starts to get smaller. The first time I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but now I won't buy it again. It's expensive to buy something you can't use because it breaks!
