I usually wash new personal items before using them. So far, I have washed these handkerchiefs in warm water as directed by the package in which they arrived. I have ironed some of the handkerchiefs. There have been quite a few loose threads, but these were easily snipped off. Otherwise, the appear attractive. I won't know about durability for some time, however. The package didn't say whether the cotton was mercerized or not.

as an ex Brit used to carrying handkerchiefs my entire life these are really poor quality. wash and dry and they come out exceptionally wrinkled compared to my existing stash on M&S products that are much much older. do not recommend.

Nicely made. Good size. Washes well. One of my husband's stocking stuffers for Christmas. He really likes them.
