Uncomfortable - maybe poor sizing

I love Columbia hiking shoes and have never bought another brand, but these are the most uncomfortable hiking shoes I've ever worn. I bought them three months ago and tried to give them time to break in (which I've never had to do with any Columbia shoes before) but they're just uncomfortable. I added an insole to try to make them better but I've worn then 10-12 times now any my feet hurt for hours when I'm done. I swear they're also way heavier than any others I've bought and these were by far the most expensive models I've owned.

Bad experience

i got those shoes almost one month ago. After two weeks of wearing the shoes, the fabric on the edges of the stitching tore. bad purchase this time.

Quickly wetted thru

Bought these a few weeks ago to use in mud season, post snow storm. Worked good over wet terrain, wet grass, but when dipped in water for a few seconds, quickly wetted my sock. Disappointed.

Perfect fit
