Great for my trip to Japan

I bought this jacket for a trip to Japan. It kept me very warm, comfortable, and dry during the light rain and snow. There were some small inconveniences like the zipper getting stuck and some threads coming out. Overall, I am happy with this jacket.

Nice but NOISEY fabric

Fit and style were PERFECT. I am a 1x so always looking for things to fit just right to be flattering hence the 2 stars. This jacket was just right in length and fit. I loved the idea of having a warmish rain jacket (living in So. Cal you don't need mega puffer jackets) for chilly wet days. However, ultimately the outer fabric on the jacket was just so crinkly and noisy I could not stand it. I ended up returning it. Hopeful to find something similiar but with an outershell that is quieter like my other Columbia rain shell.

This is partially lined, not fully lined.

This is NOT Fully sherpa lined. The lower 6" of the body of the coat have no lining, and the arms have no lining. So the "sherpa lined" jacket description is deceptive. Why bother making this partially sherpa lined? And why not say "partially sherpa lined? Sending mine back. Not at all what I wanted.

First great Columbia purchase!

I live in an area where it doesn’t really rain or snow that often. I’m also pretty warm blooded but was in need of a jacket to keep me warm through the holidays and mildly rain weather. This jacket is perfect! Super comfortable, warm, and I don’t feel restrained or limited in movement. I love it! Highly recommend!

Good jacket. Fit only ok.

I purchased this lined rain jacket to replace an old one of another brand. As w/ all Colombia tops and outerwear, I had to size up several sizes. Ie: all other brands I’m a L/XL to accommodate broad shoulders and biceps, but Colombia I need to go to 1x in shirts and 2x in outerwear which leaves sleeves and body ridiculously long and baggy. It keeps me from purchasing this band more often, and it seems to be a common complaint. That said, the jacket looks as shown, is warm and kept me dry in a light snow, and I hope it does so in rain as well. I appreciate the decently sized pockets.

Perfect

I gave 5 stars,This is my 2nd Jacket I got it to have a extra one for wearing over a thermal shirt or flannel,I love it EXCEPT the HOOD is large but, HOW Do U Tie the Hood??My 1st one had shoestring Adjustable ties and I love that,But this one has BUNGEE Cords rounded up into the hood??That's my ONLY concern,I can wear a 2x,But got 3x to use as outer winter layer, Thanks

Exactly what I wanted

This jacket is exactly what I wanted. It’s thick enough to be warm, but not too thick to be cumbersome. The rain proof element is a definite bonus. I live in south Texas and we have a few cold days a year. They’re usually rainy too. This is perfect.
