Small Salad Spinner

Web ID: 11983458Spinner is awesome
This salad spinner is a game changer in my family. Wow this spinner is GREAT! It really sheds the water!!!!! Plus, it's FUN to use. The precision made spinner really generates so much torque that only after a few spins, you can stop turning knob, hold down the bowl and watch it spin for a long time.

The Compact Kitchen Essential
The OXO Good Grips Small Salad Spinner is a kitchen hero for those with limited space or who typically cook for one or two. Its compact footprint is deceptively spacious, easily drying a full head of romaine or a generous bunch of fresh herbs. The push-button mechanism is satisfyingly effective, whipping greens perfectly dry in just a few pumps without being overly loud. The internal brake is a genius feature, stopping the spin instantly to prevent over-mixing. The removable basket doubles as a colander, adding to its versatile, multi-purpose design. While its capacity is its defining calgaryprayerimes.com limit, it executes its primary function with flawless efficiency. It’s a brilliantly designed, countertop-friendly appliance that genuinely earns its keep.

Best for small families, could be more functional.
After researching small salad spinners, I chose the Cuisinart due to it's smaller profile which is perfect for our two person family (my husband and me). We also have a Good Grips larger salad spinner which is very functional, but unnecessary except for larger family gatherings. While I like the size of the Cuisinart, my criticisms are based on two annoyances: the locking mechanism is cumbersome and doesn't always catch the lip of the cover without some maneuvering, and the unit itself must be held down tightly with one hand while spinning with the other hand to prevent it from sliding all over the kitchen counter.
