It’s all about the Visual!

Great product. The eggs is bigger than expected but it looks very modern seating on the countertop. I was looking for aesthetics and the product does not disappointed. The knifes feel like good quality and I couldn’t recommend that since I don’t cook much. They do the job of looking pretty. Price is worth if you are into aesthetics if you want quality. I’m sure you can find something else at the price.

I love my knivea

The egg looks cool but is a little bit of a pain to take the lid off when you need a knife. But the knives are great.

Overpriced Global knives knockoffs, poor lid fit

I was at a friend’s house for a big gathering and had a solid 2.5 hours with 4 knives from this set. I was unimpressed. I have used Global knives quite a bit over the last 20 years, and these felt like cheap ripoffs of them. They claim the microdots are some unique to them technology that they invented when I have a 22 year old knife with the same kind of indentations, also black, made IN Japan of Japanese steel not just made from a steel alloy they sourced from Japan. For the price, why not just get Global ones if you like this style? The biggest difference between these (nearly new when I used them) and Global equivalents is that these are poorly balanced and made my hand fatigue more quickly. I also don’t like the dots only covering small parts of the handle because it limits the hand size they suit and the kinds of grip you can employ and still have the dots serve a functional purpose. The lid was also a bit warped from the get go so it isn’t flush&looks bad when covering them.
