Best decision ever!

Best practical, affordable and aesthetically pleasing machine. As a daily espresso drinks customer (no more) I am now saving time and money having this machine at home. It comes with all the features a serious coffee drinker would need. My coffee is good now, every single time! No line, no waiting. Love it!

Perfect coffee

This makes perfect coffee every time with lots of creama and unlike the cheaper one we had before it doesn’t dance across the counter.

Cheaply Made and it Shows

The portafilter was ridiculously light and cheaply made. It wasn’t a good first impression and it went downhill from there. The unit is supposed to be a metal body but felt like metal paint over plastic. What sealed the return was the incredibly loud steamer - making a coffee first thing woukd wake the entire household. The old Cuisenart espresso machine it was replacing was far more substantial - aside from the broken steamer attachment.

Do not waste your money on the expedited shipping.

I ordered a De’Longhi espresso machine on August 28 and paid extra for 1–2 day shipping, fully expecting it to arrive over the weekend. I just checked the tracking, and it now shows delivery on September 6, a full week later than we expected and paid for. I’m incredibly disappointed and feel tricked and ripped off.

Chemical Taste

Disappointed at this because it’s such a good looking machine, but the chemical taste and smell was so strong. I tried every trick - cleaning with vinegar (I did that process twice), soaking the water tank in hot sudsy water and running it through (without coffee) dozens and dozens of time. The taste and smell never went away.

So far loving this machine

Have had the machine for about 1 month. I am a bit of a beginner in making expresso drinks and not an expert. We have had the inexpensive steam makers and a moka pot in the past; so I do have to learn better tampering and dosing. But my husband and I love the coffee flavor we are able to extract.
