This is an okay coffee maker. I feel like the coffee tastes old even if it hasn't been sitting in the pot too long. First cup is always good.
Great Coffee Maker!
I have had this same coffee maker for four years and it is great. It has an auto brew option if desired. There is not alot of buttons which makes it very simple to use. Very happy with this purchase.
Great, hot cup of coffee
This has been a great coffee maker for the 2+ years we've owned it. My grandmother was so impressed with how hot the coffee stays after 2 hours. She liked it so much that I'm going to buy one for them. I personally prefer to use paper filters. I find that the reusable ones leave a strange residue in the coffee. And, that's not exclusive to this brand, it's all of them.
Disappointed
First the latch broke, I taped it shut, because I don't like to fill the land fill with garbage. But it would fly open and coffee all over and then it does not stop filling up when you take the pot out. I ordered another brand and had to toss it in the land fill. I did not have the box to return , or I would have tried.
Broken Filter Latch
Like the previous reviewer, the latch of our filter also broke off. It just past its two year mark and so the warranty is no good. I thought coffee makers should last more than two years?!? My parents' cheap little one has lasted them over 8 years now.
Form triumphs over function
This item was purchased as a replacement for my previous coffee maker that died after 15 years of service based on the DeLonghi reputation, style and price. After only 2 months, the top on the carafe broke. Attempts to contact the company to purchase a replacement proved fruitless. Now, after only six months of use, the latch on the filter door has broken. This does make a fine cup of coffee, but the durability leaves much to be desired.

I have had this coffee maker at work for over 2 years now and it brews a great pot of coffee everytime. The basket latch broke after 1 year but the machine still works fine. We use a piece of velcro to keep the basket closed. I would still buy this model. Love it!!
Great coffee maker
I've had this for 2 years. Love the design and the reusable coffee filter. Makes good coffee.
