First sight images

This is a well constructed suitcase. It opens in the middle, with room for gear on both sides of the bag. It is well constructed, and rolls smoothly when empty. I haven't used it yet, so I hold judgment on its durability and usefulness for packing. I purchased it for a two week cruise and will check this bag on the plane. I gave 4 stars because I have yet to see how it actually functions on my trip

Meh.

Still new, but my first impression is that it’s made cheaply. Feels like plastic whereas my previous Delsey was more sturdy and larger.

Meets Air France baggage allowances

I needed sturdy (checked) luggage for travel between U.S. & France that met max linear dimensions. This Carrousel came in below the max linear: 158 cm (62.2 in). My Delsey Helium luggage (2012 & 2017) have served me well, but I needed overall (exterior) luggage dimensions that met the new allowances. I am very pleased with the Carrousel's design, built-in TSA lock, zipper quality, Navy Blue colour. Unfortunately, the Carrousel Carry-On does not meet Air France's current cabin dimensions, so I am going to purchase the Flanerie SE Carry-On Spinner in Navy Blue because it meets current AF cabin allowances. The warranty on Flanerie is only 5 yrs. I hope it will be well-made and last much longer than 5 yrs.

This is cheap luggage

I bought this to replace a Delsey piece I bought about 20 years ago and used every week since then. It has become end of life. Zippers still work great, but soft sides failing.So I bought this new one and one of the zippers doesn't work right out of the box. Am I going to get another 20, or even 5 years out of this new luggage? I don't think so. Also, interior pockets are cheaper than my old one.I am returning this and looking for another brand of higher quality. Sorry to leave you Delsey after a 20 year experience, but your quality has been diminished,
