Great addition to set

Love this piece. It's great to cook in and straight to serving. Great quality, I love the blue touches in it and wish my plates had more of that.

Lovely quality and finish

Attractive rectangular baker

Before purchasing this item, I read the existing reviews. I agree with all the positive assessments. It is, as others have noted, surprisingly light-weight. Also, the slanted sides definitely make it easier to scrub clean. The description of the product states the size as 14 inches. This is the length, not including the handles. The width at the top is 9.5 inches. Because of the inward slant of the sides, the dimensions at the bottom of the baker are 12 x 7.5 inches. This is a lovely baking dish; just don't expect to use it for recipes that require a 10 X 13 pan.
