Dishonest practices

Like some other reviews, I ordered this telescope back on November 20th and expected to receive it within a week. 3 weeks later, on December 7th, I received an email claiming the item was out of stock. Upon visiting the website, I found the item listed as in stock (at a higher price than I paid). I contacted support and they confirmed that the item was in stock and assisted in placing another order at the original purchase price. Today, December 12th, I received another email claiming that the item is out of stock and will not be shipped. This is highly unfavorable behavior from Macy's and I won't be placing any online orders from them in the future.

Disappointed only with not receiving Order

I can’t review this item because my order was canceled. Ordered on Nov 21, 2025 says it would ship in 3-5 days. Get notice on Dec 8, 2025 that they are out of stock. But yet on Black Friday lowered price and was still selling. So obviously there was enough in stock at that time. So why wasn’t my order processed before hand.

Discovery Mindblown Telescope

I'm sure the product would have been great as I've purchased before. However this telescope was not packaged to protect item. I returned it without opening & once the clerk opened the bag .. the telescope box was busted. Greater care should be made in packing a breakable, expensive item.

Why order being cancelled

I purchased twice, but both being cancelled. Why is that. If it is no more available, why it is still on the list available to buy? Make no sense! It was a Christmas gift for my grandson. Such irresponsible action makes me really frustrated.

Doesn’t work

Pretty flimsy but would be ok except that neither magnifying lens works. I definitely do not recommend this item.

Horrible

To set up was super easy. My daughter waited till night time way past her bed time. It was a beautiful clear night with a lotta stars. We couldn’t see a thing from this stupid telescope. My daughter got so upset. It was her Christmas gift. I waited for a weather to be a little clear so we could use it after a lot of snow and etc. So, they just give me two weeks for return date. I can’t even return it now. I would not recommend this cheap telescope.
