Runs small and high waisted

I really liked this dress in the picture but it didn't work for me. It runs small and I would have had to exchange for a size up. The waistline was high on me (I'm 5'8"), well above my natural waistline, which made it look out of proportion. It seems a dress at this price should be lined, at least partially. I could feel the seam across the front, which was a bit uncomfortable, though may not have been an issue if the dress were more loosely fitted.

nice fabric, lovely pattern, comfortable and soft. Runs tight on chest and too long but is classy so I am keeping it!
