BUY THIS COAT!
I wear a lot of blazers to work, so I needed a dress coat that would fit over them but not look enormous. This one really fits the bill! The fabric is beautiful—you can tell right away it’s a luxury branded coat—and while I was originally thinking I wanted the camel color, I ended up going with the chocolate brown. It is very warm (note the 90% wool/10% silk fabric content—so many other coats I looked at were 50% wool/50% polyester). Anyway, I couldn’t be more thrilled with it. I want to wear it everywhere and will probably be bummed when spring comes and I have to retire it til next year. I am 60 yrs old, 5’7” and typically wear a Large in sweaters and a 14 in blazers (I have a broad back!). I got this coat in an XL and it’s comfortably roomy with a blazer underneath.
Wool coat
The most beautiful coat Macy's sells, soft. Tried in store but no sizes ordered online. Donna Karan thank you for amazing new collection. It's not cheap coat no polyeste,r would rather pay more and nice coat as iam always cold in state of PA. Will not regret. Its be sold out.
Good quality Soft
First, it is VERY hard to find this much WOOL and Cashmere! It is pretty soft, not prickly, please Macys, get more styles of these types!! I am 5'6" 135lb, slender, got M size, it is a bit loose unless wearing a bulky sweater (if you want looser look) Maybe would've exchanged it for Small, but I think I will keep it. As the other person said, the cut in the back is so high, almost at the waist, when you walk it flaps, but I will have someone sow it together few inches.
Very nice coat with a badly design vent/pattern.
I loved the fabric for the price. The quality of the sewing was better than I expected. Looked good from the front. The problem was that the back vent went almost up to the waist. It meant that the coat moved well, but in walking, one could see the seat of my pants exposed and if I sat in the coat, it splayed. I have to wonder what the pattern makers were thinking, other than this design meant that the cut could be narrow and therefore used less fabric. I sent it back.
Remarkable quality for the price!
This coat is 90% wool and 10% silk. The quality- softness and luster is remarkable at this price (feels like cashmere). This is the single great quality coat I have found at Macys among polyester/acrylic fibers that apparel industries are pushing on us for premium prices! It runs a bit large, so I would recommend one size smaller.

Bought the xxl and it fits fine. I’m a 2xl or xxl and 5’7”. The fabric is exactly what I expected, very soft. The style is flattering for me because I’m apple shaped hehe. I recommend it!
