This set was more than I expected. Beautiful color, Not too fragile and I love the square plates!

Not the same color

Not the same bright blue color it appears at the pictures. This is a fade blue color that has an old appearance. Do not recommend if you are looking for the same rich navy blue color.

Beautiful and solid

The deep, rich blue color is as lovely up close as in the photos. I received and have been using these dishes only a short time so cannot vouch yet for the durability/fragility. They are stoneware, so each piece is heavier than dishes I've used in the past. Also, I hadn't thought beforehand to check the diameter of the square dinner plate against my small microwave's dimensions. It turns out that being square, the dinner plate will not turn in my microwave and so I have to use the dessert plate to reheat food--a minor inconvenience, but one that might have made me choose a style with round plates instead (e.g., Elama's Deep Sea Mosaic Luxurious Dinnerware). But overall, I am happy with this set and enjoy using it.

LOVE THIS SET

Definitely a great set. Durable and beautiful. But not for 180.00 . They go on sale all the time for 50.00. I just bought my second set. This company also lets you register your set in the event you may break one!! (for replacement).
