Inconsistent

I do not get a good consistency browning. Sometimes it browns. Sometimes is for not. When it works it is fine otherwise That’s an issue with me.

Crumbs get trapped!

At first, I really liked this toaster however after a short time I noticed that even though I clean out the tray after each use & shake the toaster over the sink to remove excess crumbs it doesn't remove all of the crumbs. They get trapped on top in the too many crevices due to the design of the heating bracket on top. Also, the metal of that heating bracket discolored from the heat very soon even though I have never used it to heat anything on top. I am just so disappointed with what I view as a design flaw. Now after almost one year of tolerating this toaster I have decided to buy something else & without the heating bracket feature on top. If you don't mind a lot of excess crumbs stuck in the toaster then this will work great for you.

Great basic toaster

It does what it is designed to do, but toasting sliced sourdough bread needs a couple times to get the golden crispy texture.

Excellent toaster, one minor ding for it not toasting consistently on both sides. Love the timer and the cancel button. Easy to empty crumb tray. Would purchase again.
