I was really excited to try the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Gel Cream, especially because I got it as part of a gift set and assumed that the price reflected a high-quality product. The first time I used it, I didn't notice any issues. The next day, my eyes felt a little puffy, but I attributed it to lack of sleep. By the third day, however, I noticed tingling and a burning sensation under my eyes. I stopped using the cream to let my skin recover and even adjusted my skincare routine to see if it was interacting with other products, but the burning persisted. Eventually, the irritation worsened and turned into what felt like a chemical burn, leaving my under-eye area red and puffy. Thankfully, the skin did not break. I cannot comment on the ingredients, but based on my experience, this product did not work for me and I would not recommend it.

Irritating and burning
Skip this one. It is not worth risking an allergic reaction. I have itchy and scaling skin on my eyelid and on both of the outer corners of my yes. There is a red bump on one side of the eye corner along with a burning sensation.I woke up with a very irritated eye lid after using this product for about 2 weeks...it kept getting worse, but I didn't think it was the product. I stopped using it and it started to improve the next day. Others have also had this problem. This product came as as a sample size with an order.

Burned eye lids
Wow.. what a disappointment and I see that I am not the only one! Wish I had read the reviews before my purchase. I am sorry to everyone that had this happen to.. it is very painful and uncomfortable..

Beware of chemical burns
I got chemical burns 3 times from this. After looking online it seems I'm not the only one to have this happen to. When I first got the product I was using it a few times a week with no problems, but about 3 months ago I put it on and it started burning really bad, so I rinsed it off. About a day later I woke up with blisters under both my eyes. I thought it was due to me using a wash cloth on my face and causing micro tears in my skin. I waited for them to heal and tried again, making sure to be very gentle when cleaning my face and to not mix it with another product. A day later and I had redness and flaking skin for a few days. I figured I didn't wait long enough for the skin to fully heal. I waited about a month before trying again, and a day later I've got redness again. It could be that I'm doing something wrong, or my skin is too sensitive for this product, but I've used many different products before and nothing like this has happened.

Bad Reaction
I received a sample size ofthis eye cream as part of free gift with purchase. I liked the results so ordered a full size. After one week, the area under my eyes became very irritated, red and scaly. I've never had a reaction to any skin care products before, but am very dissatisfied with this product. I'm hoping the discoloration and scaliness/flakiness improves soon, as that area looks much worse now than it did before I used the product. Maybe something changed in the formulation since I used the free sample?

The best for removing stubborn waterproof mascara
I've tried so many makeup removers that still end up leaving racoon eyes! I use this like a pre cleanse before using advanced night cleanser as my skin tends to be oily. Though I'm sure you can use this as your cleanser alone. I just prefer using both.This cleansing balm is the only product that I've found to remove waterproof mascara and it does it easily without irritating my eyes at all. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Bad reaction
I used this product for about two weeks and then woke up to red, burning eyes with dry, crusty areas in my outer and inner eyes. I immediately stopped using the product and days later I am still dealing with it. There isn't any retinol in this product so I am not sure what is causing these issues, but I see from other reviews that I'm not alone. I will be returning the product.
