Terrible "New" Formula

The new formula is terrible for my skin! I had been happily using the previous version for 5+ years. I have dry, mature skin. With this new formula, after a few hours, I have dry skin flaking off, and I immediately started having breakouts - even my coworkers noticed and commented. I can't believe Estee Lauder would change up a best-selling product. Just add a new matte product if you have a large customer base with oily skin.

Not good

Unfortunately, I am with so many others. This new formula is not good. My face is so greasy feeling, it's oxidized and turned an orange ish color and my pores are more defined. The color matched my face when I originally applied it but over time it changed. Please don't discontinue the original foundation! Please bring it back!

so sad this happened.cant wear causes breakouts

I have worn the old formula for 25 years. I have acne prone skin an this has never caused acne. now they made this new formula an it is horrible. it causes me acne an I can't wear it! the ingredient that had to change was not banned in the United States so just keep the original formula too. I don't understand. I wish companies knew how hard it is on people when stuff like this gets reformulated especially acne prone girls. if you keep the old formula as well I would pay double the price!! please don't get rid of old formula please!!!!!!!

New formula is NOT an improvement

The new formula should be renamed and not sold as an improved blah blah version. I understand change may have to happen but for honest transparency to your consumers, the original formula should be displayed as discontinued.The new formula should be renamed so there isn't any confusion. The original was perfect, the new formula is subpar in comparison. I don't care to be gaslighted with buildable coverage nonsense because I used the original for its ease of full coverage not for spending extra time to "build" full coverage. I also don't need my makeup to have skin benefits, that's what my skincare is for. As an oily girl, the original kept me matte, the new "improved" failed. Just please change the name so that people who were loyal users know that their perfect foundation is no longer available.

This is Not at all the same makeup.

They had to change the formula because Europe won’t let one or two of the original ingredients to be sold in Europe after next year, so they changed nearly the entire formula. It’s stickier and not as rich. They say it’s buildable, which means you use more. I am very unhappy because I loved the original and this is not a replacement. I will be looking for a different brand after I finish my bottle. I wish they could make some not for Europe.

I really like the new formula of the Double Wear. I'm using the same color that I used on the old one, which in my opinion felt heavy and cement like. This new formula is incredible,looks great and is buildable without being cakey. It's my new holy grail and has replaced Dior. Good job on realizing what needs to be changed. I feel it looks great in the morning first applied and in the late afternoon after the day is over. It's a definite win!

Double wear foundation

Double wear used to be soooo good. With the new formulation it is just horrible like just really bad it oxidizes soooo bad and my face gets soo oily now what a disappointment please bring the old formula back !!
