I'm so disappointed in the new formula. I've been a loyal customer for a very long time. The foundation was perfection and now I don't know what this is. It's super loose, the coverage isn't the same, I feel I'm using more product to get some what of a decent coverage. This is terrible!

I absolutely LOVE the feel of this. It's like a second skin and it stays put. But at the end of my shift I was orange. Why does it turn orange? I've seen many reviewers across different sites say the same. I'm so disappointed. Will return as soon as the one in purchased from a competitor comes. I just didn't really like the old formula, it was caked on me.

I’m sorry but why did they decide to change the formula? This new one is waaaay more orange… I use Ecru for years! And recently tried the new version and I look like Trump💀

I usually don't like writing bad reviews but Idid not like the way the new foundation looked and felt. As soon as I applied it I noticed the difference right away. It seemed watered down. Plus it would flake off my face throughout the day. I've been using the original one for many years loved it. I will definitely not be buying this new one. I really hope they continue selling the original formula double wear one or I'm going to have to find something else.

New Formula
I was going to buy a new one because I run of the old version one. But I as Im reading all this comments I have to think about buying twice since it's solo expensive and not being worth it. Now I shall go seek a better one. My face is super greasy and that's the only formula that would stay long enough wo being greasy.😒😑

This new formula of the DW Stay-in-Place Makeup is HORRIBLE!!! Your claim that 94% of reviewers recommend this product is a lie, unless you are counting reviews of the original formula as well because the majority of the reviews I read of this new formula were all extremely negative. I have been a loyal fan of the original formula for over 17 years, and I am greatly disappointed in this new formula. The color has a yellow/orange tint. It is not, at all, a "matte" finish but, just the opposite. The original formula dried to a nice powder-like finish that hid imperfections and felt comfortable on my skin all day. This new mess is shiny, which emphasizes wrinkles and imperfections rather than hide them, and it feels heavy/mask-like and tacky the entire time I have it on. I can't wait to wash it off at the end of the day. I have always bought two different shades and mixed them to create the shade I needed. Don't even suggest I see a consultant to be shade-matched again, like you have with other reviewers, because the makeup still feels and looks awful. I will now be spending my money with a different company, because your failed reformulation has driven me to find a better foundation elsewhere.

New formula is awful
I've used double wear faithfully for years. The new formulation is no good. It doesn't provide the same coverage and transfers all throughout the day. Makes my face look weird and gives a weird complexion after a couple of hours. If you have any areas you want to cover, it becomes starts to separate and doesn't lay smooth. Not a fan at all.

Well, EL, you've really messed it up this time! I hate the new formulation of your Double Wear foundation which I have purchased for over 35 years. You've cheapened the production and increased the price. The new formulation is too thin and doesn't cover and, you can no longer say that it stays in place. It also has a very annoying "tacky" feel which lasts the whole day. The wind blows and your hair sticks to your face. I will not buy the new version of this product.
