All time favorite foundation!!

I have used this foundation for a long time and it is the best one I have tried! It doesn't change color or fade, it does last all day until I remove it!! It delivers a flawless finish with a nice look from casual to dressy looks! A win-win for me!!

Not the same

I'm very disappointed with the new foundation. Double wear has been my go to for over a decade, I bought this during a sale not knowing the formula changed. When I received the product it looked different so I did some investigating and found out they reformulated (devastating) decided to give it a try despite the backlash and sure enough I have to agree with the reviews. This is not the same at all. It does not last all day like it used to, prone to separation, pores look huge, sinks into fine lines, super watery, not as easy to build, less coverage, feels off on my face. Overall not a fan! Saw that they're still offering the original formula on the website and will be purchasing that and throwing this bottle out.

Bring back the OG formula, PLEASE

I have been a DW lady for years, and this new formula has got to be the absolute worst. It oxidized on me within the first couple of hours of wearing it. I looked like an oopa loompa. Even with good skin prep, it separated, peeled and looked patchy by the end of the day. I will not repurchase.

Terrible new formula.

The new formula is terrible, sticky, tacky, and just gross feeling on my skin. I've been using double wear for 20+ years and they have ruined the most iconic foundation of all time. They clearly did not formulate the new foundation with oily skin in mind. I have oily skin and the new formula makes oily skin even worse. It oxidizes very quickly. The EL primer doesn't work with new formula either, it oxidizes even worse when I used the EL primer. They did some sort of marketing technique to get the new formula to have this many good reviews. Give it a few months and this is going to be very poorly rated by customers that aren't getting incentivized to leave a positive review. I'm going to start my research to switch to a different brand. This is so unfortunate and I hope EL takes the. negative feedback into consideration.

Disappointed

I have been a loyal customer and huge fan of the double wear foundation for over 11 years now, with never anything bad to say, and have been purchasing the shade 1W1 (bone) which was a perfect match for my skin tone for all these years… I just bought 2 bottles and the shade is completely different, almost orange on my skin. I was so confused until I looked and realized that the formula completely changed. Now I'm out over $100 and devastated. It was absolutely perfect before.

Terrible "New" Formula

The new formula is terrible for my skin! I had been happily using the previous version for 5+ years. I have dry, mature skin. With this new formula, after a few hours, I have dry skin flaking off, and I immediately started having breakouts - even my coworkers noticed and commented. I can't believe Estee Lauder would change up a best-selling product. Just add a new matte product if you have a large customer base with oily skin.
