PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA!!

Oh my gosh this is super devastating for us oily girls who relied on the old double wear foundation and it was the only foundation left anywhere that would hold in place for HOURS. This new formula is STICKY, it's THIN, and it oxidizes so badly. I want to cry. Why didn't they just make another foundation instead of REPLACING WHAT WASNT BROKEN. I don't even know what I'm going to do. Everyone I know who has tried this new formula agrees they will not be able to wear Estée Lauder double wear anymore ): so so sad. Please keep the old formula!! I will have to try a completely different brand of foundation now. I have only wore Estée Lauder double wear my entire life and now I'm lost of what im going to do now. They are going to lose a lot of lifetime customers for doing this )':

The New Formula is Fantastic!

I love the new Double Wear formula! It looks more natural on the skin with a little glow to it. The color, Cool Vanilla, is a perfect match to my skin. I'm 58 years old, and this foundation doesn't settle into wrinkles, fine lines or pores. It lasts all day and feels light weight on my face. I love it!

Do not recommend

I have used the double wear for years and loved it. I recently received the new double wear and it is terrible (I usually dont write reviews like this, but I am very disappointed with the new formula). I purchased the same color and it is not the same. The new formula made me appear orange. For reference I have pale skin and usually use 1N1 Ivory nude. The new formula also makes my face look dirty and blotchy. Lastly it does not cover acne, raised spots, age spots or blemishes like the old formula did. I feel very frustrated with this change as it took a VERY long time to find the perfect make up (which was the old formula). Not sure I am going to continue to shop with Estee Lauder as this new formula does not work well with my skin. The old product I stand behind completely. This new product I do not support.

So disappointed

I am so disappointed with the new formula Double wear, I use shade Tawney and it is so sticky even when I use powder over it. I have oily skin and acne on face and the old formula was amazing at covering it up but my face feels sticky, my hair is sticking to my face and I'm so disappointed. As a long time user I am going to have to find another

Please Go Back to Previous Formula

I've been using the original Double Wear for at least 20 years. Nothing else controls the oil, covers the pores, etc. The new formula is terrible. First of all, it turns orange - literally within two hours. It settles into lines. Requires powder to set with touch ups quite frequently. Skin looks oily. There's no pore blurring/coverage. I'd use a drug store brand before I'd purchase this again. It's awful, in my opinion.

Terrible product

I bought this item last week and it never seems to dry,no matter the setting powder brand. My hair had to stay up because it kept sticking to my face wiping my hair down with baby wipes because the foundation was all over it. The color also darkens over time. Save your money! This product is pure trash.

Ugh! Horrible too orange!

The new formula is horrible! I have used the double wear foundation for years ant it was so good and flawless and lasted all day! This formula is so orangy and does bot sit good on on skin! So disappointing! Now I need to find a new foundation after all these years

AWFUL!!!!

I've used Estée Lauder Double Wear for 30 years. It's been one of my staple, holy grail products, along with MAC Studio Fix powder. When MAC changed the formula of their powder, I remember thinking at least Double Wear was still the same. Now it seems like the formula has changed and it's really disappointing. It doesn't perform the way it used to, and that's frustrating when you've relied on a product for decades. I'm hoping they read these reviews and change the formula back.
