Late and marked differently

Not so good. Ordered bistro coupe. got bistro. not certain if same. When ordered said in on Jan 8. Drove 30 miles. Not there. Came back, Jan 12, finally there.

Never arrived, UPS tossed it.

I ordered two of these while on sale for 30% off. I was sent an email saying they were to be delivered today... nope, never arrived. I looked on UPS website tracker and saw that there was a refund to the shipper and the items were tossed in the trash. I called Macys and asked where my order was. Was told it would be here today. I told them what UPS site said and she said okay as soon as the items are returned I will be refunded in a few weeks. I asked if I could reorder the items and was told yes, but at full price. Confused at Macy's not honoring the same price, I said no thanks. Did I damage the items? No. Later, I called back and was told yes I can reorder the damaged items at the 30% off price, great. We did the order, hung up, and I received an email cancelling my order I just made and a refund to my credit card. I called back, again, and was told the other agent did not check the inventory and one bowl color was out of stock. She said I can reorder a third time and pick different colors, which I did and the 30% discount was honored. As of today, I have not received anything so who knows. All I can say is that I find it difficult to be happy at all with this transaction with Macy's. Their phone reps appear to have little training on customer satisfaction or how to address an issue such as mine. If I had received the initial items or a solution immediately, I would surely have given Macy's a 4-5 star.
