Franco Sarto Boots

I usual buy Franco Sarto boots for the quality. But this go around poor packaging caused the front of the boot to wrinkle so badly I just packed them back up and returned them. Disappointed with my purchase. Boots are so hard to gauge to begin with and then them coming in damaged just solidifies why you have to see them in person before you buy them.

Elegant, Classic

Overall the boot is a classic dress boot. However, the half zipper disturbs the smooth flow. Also, despite other reviews for this particular style, I needed to size down. Other Franco Sarto shoes I wear 7 1/2 and when I measured my foot based on product's suggestion, it should have been a 7 1/2. Guessing the 7 would have worked but I wanted a boot I could try on and leave out the store with versus return, purchasing another pair and waiting for refund.

Love Franco!

These 100% leather shoes are so cute. They are made well and will look great with my olive green cowgirl hat. I love the fact that I don’t have to get them taken into my leg. I’m 5’6” and 125 pounds. I am normally an 8 but a 7 1/2 fit better.

Slouchy leather.

Shaft of boot is slouchy. The real leather sure smells nice though. I wanted them to work so badly. I just didn’t like the look of the “flabby” leather on the leg.

Great fit but not for me

Super comfortable boot however the shaft fit my calf large, and made my feet look bigger than usual. In all fairness I have big feet for my size.

Not what I expected

These were not what I expected. I expected a stiffer leather that didn't sag when worn. They were also small....I've been taking sz8 for 30 yrs. and these just didn't fit right.
