Not like the original Frangos
These little caramel chocolates are OK, nothing special, unfortunately. Frangos started with the Frederick & Nelson department store in Seattle and these chocolates have been beloved traditions for decades, but these caramels aren't real Frangos from my point of view. The packaging is different and the texture of the candies is not like the originals. The caramels, in particular, are just ho-hum. I wish Macy's would commit to the high quality of the Frangos they still sell in the Seattle market.

Great Tasting Candy
The Frango Chocolates are a great tasting and the caramel milk chocolate is a favorite in our house.
Big Disappointment
I've bought these in the past and these were different from previous times I've bought them. They lacked the intense caramel taste that they used to have. These tasted very faintly of caramel, with the texture of caramel. The part that's supposed to be caramel had little flavor at all. Such a disappointment because they used to be incredibly good. Won't buy them again.
'Advertised but 'OUT OF STOCK', multiple times
Twice we ordered your 2-box frango's at a clearance price. Twice had to order another item to get free shipping. Twice the regular frango's came back out of stock. Checking the Macy's on-line ordering system, the regular frando's were still listed as available at the clearance price. twice called the customer service line and talked to individuals that were out of the country. No empathy. from them, reading off a programed response page. First order was for valentines day. No frango's or my wife who had been enjoying frango's since she sat under Marshal Fields multistory Christmas tree in downtown Michigan Avenue as an 8-year old. How you ever wondered why just the little things like this could effect your business model or customer retention? My wife HAD a long history of Frangos but sadly each incident has dulled the experience. Imagine how this experience would effect a much treasured 'new customer' without the long shared xperiences?
