I regret that I cannot review the jeans; instead, I need to focus on Macy’s services. The Free People jeans were marked as delivered on my order, but the package did not include the item. I never received the jeans.
Great jeans but damaged
Absolutely loved the jeans - and I got them on sale so even better. However when they arrived one of the belt loops had been ripped off which created a hole in the jeans. Unfortunately I had to return them.

BIG BUTTON BUMMER!
Would have loved to keep these because they fit well (ran a size big), I loved the weight of the denim, and I like button ups, BUT the button holes were sewn too small. I almost broke my thumb trying to push the button through. Everything else about them was great, but ya can’t wear a pair of jeans if they don’t button!
Favorite jeans
I just bought another pair in another color because I liked these jeans so well. I bought the size I normally wear. They are made to fit a little looser and baggier, but you could size down if you wanted a tighter fit. I recommend the looser fit. They are baggy in the legs, but they are high waisted so they are not baggy in the booty. I am built like an upside down triangle, so I felt these made me look slimmer and more balanced. I think they are comfortable and stylish. I love that they are cropped in length because they show off your shoes. The only con is the button fly. I felt the buttons were tight and the bottom one is weird on my pair. Hopefully with more wear this improves.

Purchased Twice
I love Free People clothing. I bought these Jen’s twice hoping the 2nd time I’d have better luck. The holes for the button fly are not large enough to actually button. Both pairs were returned & damaged. Sorry Free People, you need to do better!!

good take on barrel jean
Fits true to size. Gives a little feel of the barrel jean without being too much. They're def shorter than I thought, but I like the look with a boot underneath.
