Good

I bought this train set to put under my Christmas tree and it’s great so far! Very festive and cute! Easy assembly, intuitive to put together and I got it on sale as well which was even better!! Some of the reviews mentioned there is a remote but I do not think there is one included in this version. The train has 3 switch modes instead (off, on with motion and on with motion+sound).

Very cool train set!

This is the coolest train set ever! It runs great, and I love the Geoffrey theme, and I love the sound effects as well! I highly recommend to any Geoffrey or Toys R Us fan!!!!

Love It

I love this train. I thought I would be disappointed due to some of the lackluster reviews but I’m not. I love it and my daughter loves it too. Works fine and goes perfectly around the tree. I’m glad I chose this one.

Train Set Was Disappointing

Cute in the box- check. Easy to assemble - check. Great Macy's discounted price-check. Plenty of track to fit around the bottom of my tree- check. Train & cars can run on the track without derailing NO. This train set MUST have a perfectly flat surface. I have a large area rug that runs to the base of Christmas tree. It's height from floor is 1/2 inch. That's enough to derail the whole train. You can turn off the "steam noise" however this train purposely makes a loud clacking noise over the plastic track. That cannot be turned off. Yes, I returned it.

I want a train for my Christmas dinner table has a conversation piece and bring little something extra to the holiday gathering and this was perfect. It got people talking about their desire for a train and childhood memories of been on a train. The train was a perfect size and don't have any issues with it also can place under the tree.
