Georgia built the upper of these Eagle Light work boots with soft and durable leather. The exterior of these round-toe boots has practical and comfortable features: the padded collar is made from soft leather, and the nylon pull loop (on the back of the boot) makes it easy to get these boots on each day. While the exterior has great strength, the interior of these 8-inch boots is comfortable. This footwear is fully lined for comfort and to wick away perspiration. The men's work boots also have a Comfort Core insole that cushions your feet and absorbs impact as you walk, while its Air Flow System keeps your feet cool. To make the structure of these work boots especially durable and long-lasting, Georgia Boot built the footwear with a genuine leather welt. The bottom of these boots has been completed with an Eagle Light outsole. The polyurethane material is flexible and provides great cushioning while offering -, oil- and slip-resistance.

Ratings & Reviews

Here's what customers think
  • The Georgia Boot Eagle Light work boots are generally comfortable and require little break-in time.
  • Some users have reported durability issues with the soles and stitching, especially when used for more demanding outdoor work.
  • The leather uppers are well-made, but the overall construction quality seems to have declined in recent years.
  • Despite these concerns, many customers remain loyal to the brand and view the boots as a decent value.

1 star is being generous

I've put maybe 20 hours into these boots. Absolute garbage. Step outside and the grass is slightly damp, congrats you now have trench foot. Literally a small amount of mist from a hose and your socks are soaked. This was after waxing them down with Obenauf's heavy duty. This morning while weed whacking I stepped on a 1/2 inch stem, went straight through the sole and jabbed my foot. The only case use I could see for these boots is if you're a hipster working in an office and want to appear "manly". Calling this a "work boot" should be a crime against humanity.

Lasted well

Bought them over a year ago, the leather and stitching has held up very well. The only weak point I have seen would be the soles. I wore them every day for most of the time since I got them, so they have seen plenty of heavy outdoor use between work and home, and the soles are worn out and starting to crack. Lasted well and comfortable.

Love these boots

Bought these about 3 months ago and they are one of the most comfortable boots ive ever worn. They broke in super quick and held up through the Illinois River trails. Without any problems the picture is right after I cleaned the horse stalls lol

Not as good of a boot as they used to be

I bought this boot a year ago. At 6 months the insole started to break apart. At one year, the leather is getting soft and spongy at the balls of my feet. i oil them regularly. I noticed yesterday that the sole has started cracked as well. I don't do a lot of construction anymore so this wear is just casual wear. If i was working, I don't think these boots would have lasted 3 months on the job site

Junk Boots - ZERO STARS !!! BUYER BEWARE !!

Bought as a “going to town” boot ONLY. Pretty comfortable to walk in. Never worked in them, rarely ever saw rain/wet (leaked badly the few times it was raining- stitching in pics shows why) The soles barely have any wear. Went to town today and the pics tell the rest of the story. Subpar design, designed to FAIL. Worked in Georgia Loggers almost exclusively for over 30yrs. Georgia should be ashamed of these Eagle Light boots. BUYER BEWARE !!!

Good boots, but...

Good boots, but very inferior outer sole. This is my third pair. In every pair, the outer sole has split completely, after the warranty period. Otherwise satisfied with product.

Best boot for workers required to walk a lot.

The best landscaping summer work boot money can buy. It’s the only pair of boots I have ever found that are light weight but still hold up. The heal is actually a 2 inch block of foam incased inside the rubber tread. If you’re doing a lot of walking with your job and need the protection of leather without steel toe this is the way to go. During peak landscaping season I average 13 miles a day 6 days a week, I’m on my 9th pair and I will run the tread flat without the leather or any other part of the boot failing. That’s 216 days doing 13 miles a day equaling about 2800 miles a season before I replace them with a new boot. If I knew someone to retread them I could prob get 2-3 seasons out of them. I have never had the stitching or leather fail.
