Tough eveyday dishes

I bought these as our everyday set, and they are perfect for that. They are not perfect, however: on a few dishes the blue stripe is a little smudged, there are some blue tiny spots, and the glaze is uneven. I worked with customer service to fix the issue, and in the end it all worked out. These are heavy dishes and might pose an issue for the young or elderly, but my family is very satisfied with them. (an earlier comment mentioned that the mugs are difficult to drink out of: I have no idea what she's talking about. The mugs seem pretty standard to me.

Disappointed - defects

Disappointed that several pieces had noticeable defects. Had to return.

Mugs are hard to drink from

The mugs are hard to drink from without spilling for my kids because of the raised color band around the lip of the cup. The handles are angled like the side of the mug, which also makes them harder to hold on to than some. The dishes look nice, but are not going to work for us.
