Bring back the original Samsara

I haven't been happy since Guerlain discontinued the original Samsara. I check periodically throughout the years to see if by chance they have brought it back. Just from reading these reviews I know I will not be purchasing this perfume. I tried it before and it was not like the original. I started using the original perfume in 1988. It was my very special personal fragrance. I always got compliments wearing it. Now I am diminished and resigned to finding bootleg imitations of the original perfume because at least they keep it close to what the original fragrance smelled like. I will keep checking to see if it ever comes back. Hopeful to see the lovely burgundy bottle with gold cover with the slightly musky fragrance reappear.

Samsara was my favorite perfume for years...and this is not even close to the real Samsara. Wonder why they discontinue a fragance to bring back a fading shadow of it years later in a bottle that looks more like hand soap. I just would like to say: Guerlain, please bring back Samsara, The original one, same formula same bottle, Without changing a thing, PLEASE...

slightly different

i wore samsara from 1989 until it was discontinued. i saw this bottle and ordered it, but the fragrance is slightly different. i prefer the musky smell of the original fragrance. this has more of a perfume smell.

Fabulous

This is an amazing scent, warm notes...am enjoying alot but feel is better Worn in cooler months.... Scent becomes lighter as you wear throughout day.
