I really like these fruit bowls, they are so cute with the raised flower at the bottom of each bowl. They are dainty, but not delicate. They are microwave and dishwasher safe. These bowls are a perfect size for individual fruit servings or table sharing. For breakfast, I put raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas in the bowls - then add the fruit to a bowl of cereal as desired.

This set of four bowls is not universally appealing. The bowls are very small, and the literature describes them as "fruit bowls". They are still very small, and not at all appropriate for cereal or soup. Also, the decoration on the bowls is very limited. and absent altogether once any food is in the bowl. It would be hard to match these bowls with any other plateware because of this, and i don't think i would use these to serve just fruit.

The side plates come in a pack of 4 and are 8 inches in diameter. The flowers on the plates give a very Spring like look and would look nice on a table with matching dinner plates and cups/mugs. I get the impression the plates could easily chip, so probably best not take clean in dishwasher.

Cute but broken
The bunnies arrived, and the package was wrapped in bubble wrap unfortunately, there was nothing separating the two bunnies inside the box. While they are very cute, one of them was smashed to pieces. Very unfortunate.
