Love It!

Wow! what a beautiful piece of equipment. Spent the first day admiring the construction and then I put it to work. Made 8 vegetable soup, with fresh herbs for garnish and this knife handled everything with ease. Wish I had ordered this decades ago.

Unique versatile knife with a great handle

Super interesting knife. Not quite a slicer or a boning knife. More like a long pairing knife. I like to use it alongside a boning knife and cleaver when breaking down chicken. Great to breaking down larger cuts of meat, for example, filleting a chuck roast into chuck eyes, strip meat, stew meat, etc. Also nice on various root veg and large fruit like pineapple.

craftmanship

I purchased these only because of the high-quality forged steel. I expected the lousy workmanship you usually find in products manufactured in China. The workmanship in this set is superb; tight handle scales and all surfaces milled flush and smooth. Great value.
