A Great Deal on a Very High Quality Knife!

I just received this knife and I could not be happier! I am a life-long knife and cutlery afficianado and collector and I already had the 4" Utility version of this Forged Synergy line. My existing knife set did not really hold or take an edge that well, so I opted for both this 6" and also bought the 8", which I have not received yet. This mid-sized knife is heavy! I really like that heft provided by the amount of stainless in the blade and especially the handle, and the edge is about the sharpest that I have seen in a kitchen knife. I used this to slice an onion and the results were thin and even. I am looking forward to getting the 8" slicer and perhaps the 6" Boning blade also! Just tap the blade on your counter and it will ring, indicating a high quality knife. Very much worth the price, even the list price!
