Poor Quality and No Support from Macys

I thought the piece was beautiful and it fit me really well. But unfortunately, the material is very poor quality. I washed it exactly as instructed and it became completely covered in lint — it looks old. I can’t wear it. I spoke with an employee, explained what happened, showed her the item and even the receipt proving I had bought it just ONE DAY before — and they still refused to exchange it. I lost the piece and I didn’t even wear it! I’m really disappointed with the brand and with Macy’s.
