Warm and Fluffy

This is an excellent mid-weight duvet that has a loft similar to down. It's actually a bit warm for this area of California, but it definitely will get us through any cold snaps, and certainly allows us to keep the bedroom temperature at a lower setting. It is a bit smaller than our duvet cover, but fluffy enough to fill it nicely.

Chemical Coating Outer Shell?

It says the outer shell is 100% cotton but there is some kind of thick chemical coating over the shell. Made my eyes burn and itch and by the 3rd night breathing problems from whatever was coming off the comforter were unbearable. Outer shell very coarse. Don't know what comforter is "emitting" but not for me, not hypoallergenic.
