Indispensable go-with-everything knee socks

I've worn these plain black socks for years -- a basic and essential wardrobe item. Elastic (not too tight but tight enough) holds them securely just below my knee. The opaque fabric is reasonably durable, yet thin enough to wear with business-casual shoes and pants. Also, because they are cotton, they are less slippery inside a shoe than nylon. I used to wear various "economy" brands of knee socks, but never looked back after a friend gave me a pair of Hues to try. Admittedly they are a little pricey, but totally worth it. Toes and heels do wear out eventually, so I keep my eye out for sales when I can stock up.

I love these socks.

I purchased 2 packs 1 from me and one for my daughter. If you don't want to wear tights, these socks come all the way up to your knee, they feel wonderful on your legs.
