Quick, spicy, and fun.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars) 🌶️🌶️🌶️½ spice Well… well. What in the heavens did I just read? 😂 I feel like I shouldn't have liked it as much as I did — but wow, I loved it. The opening of this book? Absolutely shocking. What a way to start. I was shoved headfirst into the story, and the moment I was in, there was no stopping until I hit the last page. The spice in this book came in like a heat wave — and given the world they’re on, that heat melted me into a puddle. Thankfully, there was also a solid plot with a lot going on, which made me really happy because I love my books with both smut and substance, thank you very much. 😳 Not only was there a high level of spice, but there were also high-stakes moments, genuine tension, and amazing humor and character interaction. It’s a quick, easy read with a great story-to-smut ratio — and it hit just right. Would I recommend it? YES. YES. Would I read it again? An easy yes. How would I sum it up? Quick, spicy, and fun.

Can't Get Enough

Georgie is abducted by aliens, dumped on an ice planet, and rescued by a seven-foot-something blue guy who is both frustrated and fascinated by her. The dual POV format works SO well because there is a language barrier for most of the book. I was impressed by how Dixon wrote the communication between Georgie and Vektal as they learn how to understand each other. This is low-stakes but oh-so-spicy. I am officially hooked and can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Good erotica, not-so-good science fiction

This may be the silliest book I've ever read. As a work of science fiction, it is ... lacking. A lot. The biology and the physics are a mess, to put it charitably, and the worldbuilding is sketchy. But when it comes to the spicy lovemaking scenes between the alien and the human, the writing is absolutely on point. Read this for the smut, not the plot, and you'll be plenty happy.

If you're even slightly curious, do it

Such a quick read. I don't have much free time, and a book this size usually takes me at least a month or two to get through, but this took me about 5 days. Lots of spicy scenes and it starts early lol Even without them, the plot is interesting and there's always something new or exciting happening. It keeps your attention. If you're even slightly curious it's worth the read.

Amazing story

What a wonderful story. Check your trigger warnings as the first part of the book is a bit rough. The world building is absolutely phenomenal. I love the characters and their interactions. The way that the author gives back history and important information is well done and nicely placed. The characters are very deep and I love watching them change and grow together. The plot both personal and overall are very fascinating. I spent a lot of the time either with my hand over my mouth or giggling like and idiot. Outstanding book.

Big Blue Aliens... Oh My!

Just finished "Ice Planet Barbarians" by Ruby Dixon. This is the first book in a long series of LOTS of beautiful blue aliens! Now heads up, this book is not going to be everyone's cup of tea. It is spicy and "different" as the couples consist of 7 foot blue aliens with tails, so be warned. Now, this author is a great writer! I was instantly drawn into this story and the writing. The characters are amazing and the relationship growth was so fun to read. I can't wait to continue this series and read more about these hot blue aliens and their mates!
