The cover slides over the whole mattress & when zippered up, it is tight & squeezes the pillow top so that it acts like it isn't there. & makes the mattress firmer than it is intended to be. The cover says it will fit on an 18" deep mattress & this 1 is only14.75". I cant comment on it's other claims because we have not had it long enough to tell.

Nice cover

Needed this for my husband since he's allergic to dust mites. Very easy to put on. I don't like the sound it makes when you get in bed. Not loud but has a slight scrunching sound. That's the only reason I did not give it a 5.
