Defective or very poor instructions

I wasn't happy at all with the time it took to preheat. Made chili, on slow cook, and the preheat light was flashing for 4 hours, then started cooking. The booklet said it may take up to 2 1/2 hours for preheat but this was way too long. Also don't care for the way to program the different meats and such. Have to press this knob for all changes. Not at all like the one I used to have. Returned it.

Instant Pot Duo

Very good so.far - I tried once only but I liked it very much. It is quiet and has all the features that I wanted. One small problem: the sound is too low. You need to be close to the Pot to hear the bell.
