Macy's allows UPS to steal customers packages
I ordered 3 Instant pots from Macys during their Black Friday sale. Only one was delivered by UPS. The shipping box was open so you could tell someone looked in the box. The driver took a picture of only 1 box and marked the order delivered without the other 2 boxes. I contacted Macy's and told them the UPS driver had to steal the other 2 boxes. They asked if I wanted a refund and I told the representative that I did not want a refund and that I wanted the instant pots because they were Christmas gifts. I told him I wanted to go to UPS and file a claim to demand my other 2 boxes because UPS keeps getting away with stealing. Macy's rep stated he would file the return and I could still go to UPS and if they had my products, I could still retrieve them. I told him I was hesitant because if I accepted that return it would be hard to get the product. He assured me it would not be. I contacted UPS claims department and they stated the sender (Macy's) put a note in to not allow me to file a claim. I hate being lied to and that was wrong on Macy's part. UPS will always still Macy's packages if they know Macy's won't investigate the missing packages. I am very disappointed and am not sure about placing anymore online orders from Macy's.

This product is easy to use and makes less whistle nose than other pressure cooker. Cooks fast and through.

I wasn't happy at all with the time it took to preheat. Made chili, on slow cook, and the preheat light was flashing for 4 hours, then started cooking. The booklet said it may take up to 2 1/2 hours for preheat but this was way too long. Also don't care for the way to program the different meats and such. Have to press this knob for all changes. Not at all like the one I used to have. Returned it.

Very good so.far - I tried once only but I liked it very much. It is quiet and has all the features that I wanted. One small problem: the sound is too low. You need to be close to the Pot to hear the bell.

Happy So Far
Machine is quieter than my old one that was 8Qt, this one is 6 qt. Although this is 1000 Watts, same as my old one, that one seemed to heat up faster. I have to work with it further to fully confirm this as I've only used it once. I used the saute, slow-cook and pressure function to make soup so far. The saute did not heat up as quickly as my old one and the slow cook did not soften carrots after 3 hours, so I did a 5 minute pressure cook (after 3 hrs slow cook) and that worked beautifully. It was very quiet and the steam release was really nice. The pressure cook piece is definitely an improvement...jury still out on slow cook and saute.
