Fantastic cup of coffee!

I bought this a month ago and it makes the best drip coffee. Takes less than 5 minutes to brew 4 cups and feels user friendly. I love the minimalistic design, although it has more plastic than I had imagined based on the pictures.

Looks good but…

Looks good but the black matte carafe started chipping just after a year. Then the handle became warped and the coating chipped off. The WiFi feature never worked. The lighted display is failing and you can’t tell the time or brew cup settings

Beautiful

Machine is beautiful like art, but unfortunately even at the highest setting I still need microwave, which is a big disappointment! Otherwise, makes good coffee, still learning all the FUN buttons

Carafe sensor problem

The coffee making is fine but after a little more than one year the carafe sensor located in the base of the machine stopped working, preventing the coffee from being brewed. I was able to bypass the problem by unscrewing the machine base and closing the contacts at the sensor connector miniplug. This is a partial fix as the machine would now brew even if the carafe is not in place, but unfortunately GE does not make replacement sensors available. It should because this is a common problem reported by several other customers (see earlier postings in this thread).

Carafe is amazing keeps Coffee nice and Hot.

We were replacing a Ninja 12 Cup Coffee Maker with a heated station for the carafe, The Carafe is amazing keeps the Coffee Hot for over an hour, It brews quickly but does not offer a stopper if you remove the carafe while brewing that is why I gave it 4 stars I would still purchase it again. You also can not remove the water reservoir to take to your sink you have o take the water to the coffee maker that waalso a negative.

Carafe Temp

We love the design, look and performance of the coffee maker. The only 'issue' is the carafe doesn't seem to hold thereat long enough to enjoy a later cup of coffee.

New Coffee machine

Very nice machine. The brewing and consistency are perfect. It brews the perfect flavor and strength after the initial setup. The temperature is also good.
