Coffee maker would not brew.

We recommend performing the cleaning instructions starting on page 14 of the Owner's Manual here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--8UIdzf24--/j9ps7cfsqfoecc02numn.pdf. Once you have properly cleaned the coffee maker, please reset your appliance by disconnecting power from the unit for 2-3 minutes and restore power. If this reset does not allow you to brew coffee as normal, please contact our warranty team directly at 1-833-4BODEWELL.
Low quality, cheap plastic and very delicate.
Really disappointed. I wanted everything to match (large and small appliances) and when my previous coffeemaker stopped working I bought this one. It is so high maintenance and I regret buying it. You can’t put the carafe in the dishwasher, it is really cheap materials (the glass on the carafe is thinner than any machine I’ve ever used) and shows every ground and drop of coffee. I have to hand wash almost the entire machine daily otherwise it begins to stain. I’m also disappointed with the capacity, most go to 12 cups and this only goes to 10. Out of the box the coating/paint was chipped or not properly sealed around the grounds holder. See photos.

A little surprised
Really surprised that the water reservoir does not remove for easier filling and cleaning. The top for the coffee grinds only opens up, so this coffee maker really needs a large clearance area above it to function. Would prefer it be operable underneath our cabinets (without having to bring it forward to fill the water and add coffee grinds. It does keep the coffee pot nice and hot. Also not as friendly for single cup brewing as my Ninga coffee machine.

Great addition to the kitchen
This coffee maker is perfect for our family. The stainless steel matches with the other appliances & the coffee brewing is quick. Having the coffee stay warm up to 2hrs is a bonus!

The perfect coffee maker
We have the café refrigerator and decided to purchase the Cafe coffee maker. Both of these products are exceptional. The Cafe Coffee coffee maker brews coffee perfectly every time… I get many compliments on the look of it and it’s very easy to clean. The copper accent on the handle is a nice classy look in the kitchen.

Not reliable
We bought this coffee maker in early 2024 and have issues almost the entire time we have had it. It started when the machine prompted us to descale, which we did. The descale sign never went away and has flashed for 2 years straight. Then the button went out and would not allow us to smoothly scroll to change time, cups, strength, etc. It would bounce around: for example, trying to set the time from 7AM to 4:30AM, the hours would go from 7 to 9 to 2 to 5 and eventually land on 4. Then two days ago the coffee brewed lukewarm and today it stopped brewing altogether. Very disappointing for the price point we paid for this product.

For the issues you’ve had with the descaling notification not going away and with scrolling, we recommend disconnecting the coffee maker from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. This can often solve an issue, and may help with the brewing issues as well. Beautiful
We love the ease of operation, the physical appearance of the appliance as it goes with our whole kitchen of GE Cafe appliances. The coffee tastes exactly as expected. We are very happy with this purchase.
